Describes the numerous challenges prospective teachers need to face when developing narratives to reflect about classroom situations. Illustrates how a multimedia interactive environment contributes to incorporate narratives to improve teaching practices. Classifies into broad categories several stories about educational events and explains how to reorient them to create narratives. Contemplates the case of mathematics lessons as an example to observe and follow. Gives an account of steps based on a theoretical framework to support student teachers to go beyond the limit of stories and transform them into narratives.
