Gives an account of methods to analyze and contribute to post-secondary writers to move from knowledge-telling to knowledge transformation. Evaluates a 40-argumentative-essay corpus to put forward problematic issues related to a wide variety of factors in evidential sentences. Enhances students to produce academic texts by correctly interpreting, paraphrasing, evaluating, and integrating multiple sources. Provides a description of coded argumentation schemes (Chang et al., 2019) to support writers in their process of knowledge transforming through a computational tool. Describes how the algorithm provides scaffolding to improve writing for transformation.
